Wendy Andrews, BS, is the Oncology Practice Administrator at the University of Arizona Cancer Center, Banner University Medical Center in Tucson, Arizona. She has managed oncology practices for over 30 years and has been at the University of Arizona for 22 years. Andrews is responsible for the operations of the oncology service line, including access to care, communication, finances, budgeting, strategic planning, and quality services (i.e., alternative payment models).
Andrews developed the original Quick Reference Guide in the ACCC Patient Assistance Guide and continues to provide information for the Patient Assistance Program Flowchart. She has also served as Chair of the ACCC Governmental Affairs Committee for 10 years and continues to reside on that committee and the ACCC Oncology Care Model (OCM) Collaborative taskforce. She also has served on several other committees and taskforces for ACCC.
