
Meagan joined ACCC in July 2024 and brings over 15 years of experience serving as an oncology-focused business consultant and strategic adviser to hospitals and health systems across the country. Prior to joining ACCC, Meagan built and co-led the Oncology Services Practice at ECG Management Consultants (ECG), a nationally recognized healthcare consulting firm and the nation’s largest dedicated oncology consultancy serving the provider industry.
Over the last decade as a consultant, Meagan has partnered with leadership teams from over 100 different organizations to tackle their most pressing challenges and greatest opportunities within oncology, from operational improvement and performance transformations to strategic growth pursuits and partnership formations. Meagan’s experience draws from working alongside a wide range of program types, sizes, and settings, from leading NCI centers to solo community-based practices, including many former clients who were ACCC member programs. Meagan was formerly a corporate member of ACCC and is recognized thought leader within the industry on topics related to the business of cancer care.
Meagan’s professional experience is complemented by her personal journey as a caregiver to her mother, who lost her battle with breast cancer in 2023. Her caregiver experience further instilled Meagan’s commitment to helping advance how patients access and experience cancer care in the U.S., particularly in underrepresented populations and underserved communities.

Sabina Gargiulo is the Senior Director of Corporate Relations and Development for the Association of Cancer Care Centers (ACCC) and CMI, the association management division of MJH Life Sciences. In this role, Sabina works with the association's national corporate members and industry partners to advance cancer care delivery through leadership exchange, education and other value-driven initiatives.
For the past 20+ years, Sabina has built a strong professional background working with associations and non-profits to advance their missions and financial positioning through cultivating meaningful and sustainable relations with industry. Prior to joining CMI and MJH Life Sciences, Sabina led Industry Relations and Marketing for a large association management company servicing about forty national and international clients, cross-industry. She was also a member of the company's senior leadership team, technology advisory council and ASAE Foundation ForesightWorks task force.

Monique J. Marino is Senior Director, Editorial Content and Strategy at ACCC, where she is responsible for developing quality, member-driven content for ACCC’s bimonthly, peer-reviewed journal Oncology Issues. She is also responsible for developing agendas for ACCC flagship meetings, including identifying topics and subject matter experts. Monique grew up in Pennsylvania, where she graduated magna cum laude from Shippensburg University. Monique lived in Tokyo for five years before moving to the Washington, DC. metropolitan area. She spends most weekends sailing and motoring in the Chesapeake Bay.


Elana Plotkin is the Senior Director of Education Programs at ACCC, where she is responsible for overseeing the implementation of educational initiatives that support multidisciplinary cancer professionals across the United States. She has over 15 years of healthcare association experience and is certified as a healthcare meetings professional. She has personally led initiatives related to geriatric oncology, precision medicine, health literacy, and shared decision making, among others. She received her Bachelor of Science from the College of Health and Human Performance at the University of Florida.

Nicole Tapay, J.D. is the Director, Cancer Care Delivery & Health Policy for the Association of Cancer Care Centers (ACCC). In this role, she is responsible for developing and executing ACCC’s health policy and advocacy strategy. She serves as a liaison between ACCC’s members and external stakeholders, including patient advocacy organizations, policy experts, and governmental agencies and officials to advance the policy objectives and priorities of ACCC’s interdisciplinary membership.
With more than twenty-five years of experience, Ms. Tapay has held senior health policy, legislative, and regulatory roles in the government, non-profit, and private sectors. She has advised senior executives, government officials, and policy experts on the development, implementation, and analysis of comprehensive and incremental health coverage and systems reforms in the U.S. and internationally. Her past positions include senior roles at the National Coalition for Cancer Survivorship, Eli Lilly, the U.S. Senate, Georgetown University, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), and the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD).
Nicole obtained her A.B. from Princeton University and her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center.
