Amir Sajadian, MD, MA, HMDC, has been the medical director MercyOne North Iowa Hospice since 2016, and he is a palliative care physician in the Palliative Medicine Department at MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center. Furthermore, Dr. Sajadian serves in the MercyOne North Iowa Ethics Committee. He is a board-certified family medicine physician and hospice medical director. Dr. Sajadian has also been an adjunct assistant professor at Des Moines University as well as an adjunct clinical assistant professor at the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine. He has contributed to the education and training of medical students, residents, and fellows.
Dr. Sajadian completed his family medicine residency program prior to completing his hospice and palliative medicine fellowship. He holds a Master of Arts in Health Services Management.
