Daniel Mulkerin, MD, graduated from Jefferson Medical College. He then completed his residency in internal medicine and fellowship in medical oncology at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics. Dr. Mulkerin joined the UW Medical School faculty in 1999 and is currently an assistant professor in the department of medicine, section of medical oncology. His clinical expertise is in the treatment of gastrointestinal malignancies, including liver and pancreas, esophageal, stomach, biliary, colon, rectal, and anal cancers. He is actively involved in the development of new therapies for patients with these diseases. Dr. Mulkerin also serves as regional director of the University of Wisconsin Carbone Cancer Center regional cancer center network, which includes affiliate sites in eight communities within Wisconsin and Illinois.
