Suzanne McGettigan, MSN, CRNP, ANP-BC, AOCN, is an oncology nurse practitioner and clinical manager of Advanced Practice Providers and Nursing, at the Abramson Cancer Center at the University of Pennsylvania, in the Division of Hematology-Oncology. She provides clinical care to patients in the Melanoma and Cutaneous Malignancies Program as well as other programs within the Division. She is a Clinical Associate at the University of Pennsylvania, School of Nursing. Through her clinical work, Ms. McGettigan has provided care to cancer patients receiving immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and chemotherapy, participated in clinical trials which have led to the approval of these agents, and provided symptom management and survivorship guidelines.
After graduating from Washington and Lee University with a BS degree in Biology, Ms. McGettigan earned both a BS degree in nursing and MSN from the University of Pennsylvania. She holds certification as an Advanced Oncology Nurse and an Adult Nurse Practitioner. She is an active member of the Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) and the Advanced Practitioner Society for Hematology Oncology.
