Charles Maurer, MD, is highly regarded for his compassion and interaction with his patients. His philosophy in treating his patients is rooted in the importance of communication. He
is board certified in medical oncology, and hematology. In addition he serves as the Mary Washington Cancer Committee Chairman and director of the Mary Washington Oncology Executive Committee.
Dr. Maurer received his MD from SUNY Health Science Center at Syracuse in New York, and completed his fellowship in hematology and medical oncology at the University of Rochester Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, New York.
