Driven by a strong interest in the scientific progress of medical oncology and hematology, particularly relating to immunology, Dr. Khalil is grateful for the chance to bring new therapies to patients. This passion led her to pursue a combined M.D./Ph.D. program, and was further developed during her fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania, where she helped initiate a solid tumor immunotherapy program. Prior to joining Riverside, Dr. Khalil developed a special expertise in thoracic oncology and melanoma disease management as an attending physician at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
