Ali Raza Khaki, MD, is a board-certified medical oncologist and a clinical assistant professor at Stanford University School of Medicine in Stanford, California. Dr. Khaki treats patients with genitourinary cancer including kidney, bladder, prostate, and testicular cancer. He is also an editor for HemOnc.org and theMednet, a physician-only online community where members share clinical questions and answers. Dr. Khaki's research interests include using real-world data to investigate effectiveness of novel therapies in patients not well represented in clinical trials with particular interest in bladder cancer. He further studies health care utilization and cost near the end-of-life for patients with advanced cancer.
Dr. Khaki earned his BA in chemistry at Carleton College and his MD at University of California San Diego School of Medicine. He completed his residency in internal medicine at University of California San Francisco and his fellowship in hematology/oncology at the University of Washington/Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Seattle, Washington.
