Amanda Ivarra, CHES®, is the program specialist for the Texas Comprehensive Cancer Control Program (TCCCP) at the Texas Department of State Health Services. She is also the coalition coordinator for the state’s cancer coalition, the Cancer Alliance of Texas, which engages stakeholders to work collaboratively to reduce the burden of cancer in Texas. She is also a certified health education specialist.
Ms. Ivarra received her BS in health from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas.
